Clemson had a drive of the decade in the final 2 minutes last night, and ended the inevitable delivery of a championship to Alabama.  The best thing about it was to see a team that featured former walk-ons winning over a team made up almost entirely of 5* players.

One day 5* players might not be afraid to go to a school they want to, instead of the one that the media steers them to.  Maybe one day they will have faith in their ability to raise a school to the realm of contender instead of flocking to a few schools and being surprised that the almost always win.

Clemson’s victory almost wipes out the crimes of the committee in trying to lock down a 5* showdown with Alabama vs Ohio State.  Clemson beat both, and ESPN will have to find some new logic for why the SEC is so superior.

Tonight was a good night for college football.
